About Birchfield Industry Focus
We are a Ho Chi Minh City practice dedicated to industry benchmarking for supermarket operators — store walks, peer cohorts, and leadership briefings rooted in how Vietnamese formats actually trade.
Registered business
The official registered business name is Birchfield Industry Focus Co., Ltd. The company was established in 2015 in Ho Chi Minh City to serve supermarket owners, category directors, and operations leads who needed confidential peer comparison beyond supplier presentations.
Early work began with neighbourhood formats in Tân Phú and surrounding districts, walking fresh counters and grocery aisles with operators who wanted to know whether their assortment depth and margin bands sat inside or outside the range of similar stores. As regional chains grew, the practice expanded into multi-store cohort matching and new-format briefs for catchments across southern Vietnam.
How we work
Engagements stay close to the trading floor. We match peer cohorts by format and catchment, protect anonymity, and present findings in language category teams can take into reset meetings. We do not sell software licences or place permanent staff inside your buying office.

Community and place
Our office is based at 71/1 Le Trong Tan Street in Tân Phú District, Ho Chi Minh City. We meet clients on site, in store back rooms, and in our Tân Phú meeting space for leadership workshops.
